From what I read this year's draft is basically deep until the 4th round. Quantity rather than Quality.

Basically to break it down.

#1-4 superstar potential (Jones, Drouin, Mckinnon and Barkov)
#5-10 could turn out solid NHLer's
#11-25 not much difference between these picks.
then there's the bottom half from 26-55, ~56-90 are similar.
the skill level drops dramatically after #90.

this is probably why MB gave up a 5th rounder for Drewiske.

Since we have 4 picks in the first two rounds, its like having 4 late first round picks.
