And the 4th goal he allowed vs the jets.. yeah, that wasn't because he was tired, it was because he didn't give a **** and didn't put any effort into making the save..
Agree its a weak excuse
Irbe at 5'8 and at risk for dehydration/weight loss played 77 games for the Canes one year (Believe he played 70+ a few times).
His backups were terrible Moss , Fichaud , etc and he still put up respectable numbers and guided some poor hurricane teams to playoffs
