We can turn a blind eye to FF dropping on draft day hurting his value less than a year later, but why bother at this point, just to complain further about George? It was a run on Dmen - the 7 GM's were all stoopid. Maybe none of it was a coincidence, his value set by GM's, not you.
I vote lets give the dude 1 mortgage every 15 years. He has the freedom to do so and rarely to never has.

This is the future, and he did not mortgage it away.
Except he did a ****ing horrible job of mortgaging.
He patched a self-inflicted hole that could have been easily fixed a dozen ways in the offseason, or hell even with Clowe or Jokinen at the deadline for either secondary assets or for free. All while letting the defense keep having to rely on top 6 minutes from one of Hillen, Erskine or a (clearly not in the plans this season) Orlov, and that's with Mike Green not pulling his jenga act like he does every other month.
