AIK missed they playoffs, Skellefteċ AIK made the final. Different teams.

AIK (f. 1891) is the team that has been a stepping stone for a surprising amount of NHL goaltenders: Fasth, Gustavsson, Bäckström, Thomas, Kiprusoff.

Skellefteċ AIK (f. 1921) is the team that has produced a several of Sweden's top talents the past few years: Larsson, Erixon, Rundblad, Lindberg.

Skellefteċ's fans try to refer to themselves as "AIK" even though AIK proper has been around for longer, is the bigger club, better in every sport except currently in hockey. Skellefteċ even modeled their emblem and colours from AIK.

It is sort of like if Columbus would start calling themselves the Blueshirts. You just can't let something like that slide.
Or is it Solna AIK and Skellefteċ AIK?

BTW, have the Knicks formally changed their names from the Knickerbockers?
