But, the GM Patrik Sylvegård aka Sly had brought in a PP-specialist and a guy who develops youths and said he would get some decent ice-time this year, if he makes the most of it (have to remember it is still a open league and the team can't just bottom out).
So that wasn't apparently okay for him and his agent and they chosed to turn down the contract-offer (which was given a deadline) with some explanation about him not trusting the team (who he had play for in his entire hockey career) and was not given the ice-time he wanted.
He as a 18-year old demands icetime on a hockeyteam full of men coming of a 11 points season in 43 games. And watching some interviews of him he seem to have his head among the stars and already seem to think that the NHL-contract is settled just because of his projection.
If i'm truthful he will be one of the busts of the first round 2013 draft. I hope i'm wrong but i don't believe i'm.
for some reason, when i read this, i read "ice time" as "ice cream"
