Bruins fan coming in peace. United as a team Canada fan for the moment.
Bergeron was an iffy pick at the time, as far as reaction went. Turned out to be a specialist that took draws, didn't win as many as he might have wanted but was still valuable. He is miles better as a player right now. If he was on the team then, he'll be there next year. Selke winner, picking up more points and still wins a ton of draws. Gotta stay healthy tho.
As for Subban, I don't think he's a shoo-in, however if he has a year like he does next year there's very little chance he's left off.
In no particular pairing order..
Weber, Keith, Pietrangelo, Doughty, probably Subban, and Seabrook, Mcdonagh, Marc Staal and Girardi fighting for the last spot or 2, depending on the identity they want to bring. Also very right-handed shot heavy but we're not very deep with lefty shots.
EDIT: forgot Letang, however I think it might be him or Subban for the speed/creativity role. Still not totally sold on Letang's D and size. But with the bigger ice they might be smarter picks than slower players like Girardi or Staal (however Staal shoots left, which could be needed).
