I'm sorry BRB I disagree. I like Torts, I do...but that is the time to call him out. Part of being a coach is recognition. Torts says and does increase and decrease player's ice time throughout the game based on the "feel" he has for the game. Well clearly he wasn't feeling **** with del zotto's game because it was so damn apparent of how poor he was playing. If that was Gaborik or Kreider they'd be riding the bench. You tied the game basically short handed after a great PK and you put del zotto out there on the next shift or two? C'mon that's just stupid. You had the momentum and gave it right back. Del Zotto was chasing forwards up the boards by the blueline so Kessel could have not one but two shots on net.

It was BAD coaching. Bottom line.
