Based on your and Beef's logic, wouldn't it be the exact opposite? The players having no confidence in Bryzgalov stopping even routine shots would be going even faster to block everything. Everyone would be engaged in defense. Players expecting a save to be made would look nonchalant because they are preparing to switch from defense to offense.
