yeah, I guess. Maybe this off season is another push for a big namer? I seriously think if you have a better D, you get a better Bryz. I don't think ANY goaltender could do much with the D as it is, even healthy they were bad for the most part. So ship Bryz out and run with Mason? That is moving backwards imo. Or waste a pick or something for a plug in goalie? backwards again, IMO. This problem can be fixed with Bryzgalov in net. Is he playing worth his contract? Hell no. But when a goaltender of his caliber becomes available, you grab him w/e the cost. Obviously the upper management thought he would play better here then Phoenix, but even they had a better D.
