I sprint up a hill 20-25 times 2 days per week. Doing this helps to build your wind. I "power skate" in my roller blades for about a half hour 2 days per week. By "power skate" I mean I take very long very hard strides sort of like a speed skater. This really helps build up the leg muscles. Also do squats one other day (about 50-60 reps with 2 25 pound dumbbells. 100 pushups 5 days a week for upper body strength. My league plays on monday nights so I make sure not to workout on sunday or tuesday as a couple of days a week of rest is important
