We had few goons that were very bad hockey players. here's some that come to mind :

Jeff Brubaker
Kent Carlson
and the worse : Normand Baron (not Murray Baron). he was bring from the senior pro league in Québec and touted as the best fighter. He was specialy signed to take care of Dale Hunter in the years he was banging Lafleur badly in the boards, always with high elbow. I think the experiment last only one game. he was so bad a player and so bad a skater that in his first shift, Dale Hunter was playing Tom and Jerry with him. Dale was skating to him, then hits him into the board, then continue to play until the next hit. Baron couldn't catch him. It was humiliating. I remember Hunter smiling while playing. He knew Baron was there to take care of him.

EDIT : Sorry, it is Normand Baron, and he played 4 games with the Habs, + 3 in playoffs, + 2 or 3 with the Blues in a later season. That's it.
