TOI doesn't factor in:
Fatigue (from more/less minutes)
Injuries (from more/less minutes)
Empty net goals

Say 73% of people prefer coke over pepsi or can't tell the difference 3 out of 5 times...
mean 1% prefer coke, 72% can't tell the difference 3 out of 5 times and the rest of the time they prefer pepsi, and the remaining 27% always prefer pepsi...
In which case pepsi would be the preferred choice 558 times out of 1000 and Coke only 10
