One complaint I've had about John Garrett lately is that his commentary seems to be declining in quality. He used to have a lot of insightful things to say about every play. Nowadays, all he does is describe exactly what's happening on each replay. If the clip changes, he'll change topics entirely and start describing the next replay. He won't even be speaking in coherent sentences. There's no depth to anything he says anymore. As soon as there's a replay, he'll start to describe it in the plainest way possible.

"Oh, yes. Ryan Kesler, shot. Good tip in front."

*clip changes*

"... good save by Cory Schneider. Some pushing."
