Eh, I believe more games worked than didn't work. Which is a bit better than certain SKU PS3's NOT working at all. Regardless, I still can't find a valid point to remove backwards compatibility except for Sony's case with their ****** Cell chip. But I can't help but think that software emulation could be achieved.
