Also 108 goals spread over 8 seasons is only 13-14 goals a season AND without the Suter hit, there‘s the real possibility that it wouldn‘t be just 8 more seasons.
It's highly likely it would need to be close to 20 goals per season at the beginning as the NHL scoring rate went down in the mid 90's and beyond.
It's not like the 104 goals would be evenly spread.
Like I said he scored 38 in 94, are you suggesting he hits over 50 if not for the hit? Pretty unlikely given the goal scoring decline before the hit.
