Agreed he's been good, I liked him in his draft year too, never thought he'd be anything less than what he is.
Come now. The Rangers blew out two teams, BECAUSE he contributed those points, not the other way 'round. I don't mean to take anything away from Gabby who has also been good since the trade and I absolutely agree that they are different scenarios - but comments like this sound an awful lot like trying to downplay his performance to justify your preexisting opinion.
He's over a PPG since he's been here. Because he's contributed those points the team has scored more - including blowing out a couple of teams. So, somehow that invalidates his points? Does not compute.
