I can't think of a specific game, but it might be a stretch of games at the beginning of the 74-75 season when Lafleur began to blossum as an elite player. This occurred a season or two before I started to watch hockey in my childhood. None of these games appear to have been saved on tape because ESPN classic nor CBC has shown any. I would have loved to see this transformation along with the fans reactions.

My other choices would be the Rocket's 5 goal playoff game, game 1 of the 72 Summit Series, a playoff game in Chicago in I think 1959 between Montreal and Chicago where the ref, Red Storey blatantly missed numerous penalties on the Habs as they went onto win 3-2 and the 1967 playoff game between Chicago and Toronto where Sawchuk relieves Bower and stops 37 shots in 2 periods.
