he's ready physically, but still can't play. again, this is the reason why i agreed with AM at all about setting a timetable. the doctors say he's good and ready to go, but he, for some reason, is stopping himself. i say stop taking him to head doctors and take him to a shrink. not that i think he's lying, but there is a chance that he could be so emotionally scarred from the previous head injury that he thinks that something is there when it isn't. it's a slim chance, but why not try that angle.

Sounds a lot like what happened to Oleg Tverdovsky last year. Every doctor had cleared him to go, but Oleg pulled himself out of the lineup saying he didn't feel right, which is the main reason he wasn't qualified and ultimately ended up in Russia this year.
