This is why I hate bad stretches.

4-5 bad games in a 48 game season do not warrant any lost jobs in terms of the coaching staff or the team. Yes, some poor choices were made in the last few games, but let's face it; Montreal finished 15th in the East and landed in the top 3 in last year's draft. This year, they sit at the top of the NE -- albeit it is unknown whether they will still be there by season's end -- and a playoff spot has been clinched already.

It's just a bad stretch. J.J. has done a great job this year, as has Therrien and the team as a whole. Yes, better choices can be made -- both by the team and by management -- but the overall result of this season has been spectacular.

Oh, and did I mention, YAY PLAYOFFS!?
