12 million hit in 2013, as opposed to having him on the roster for 9 million in 2013, and if he left it would have been a hit of 9 million in 2014. So better to get the 12 million over with now considering free agency is basically over.

Great trade for Tampa, they have the money, and none of it is guaranteed. I do wonder if he plays a healthy 2013, if he will hold out again?

With seemingly only one team looking to make the trade, I'm surprised the Bucs even gave up the first rounder.

As a Jets fan, sad to see him go, but I understand it with a rebuilding team. Hoping they get a guard and a lb on Thursday night. Although Tavon Austin is intriguing for a team lacking any play makers.
