Strongly disagree, Bob. Think the third period several Finnish players distinguished themselves winning one-on-one battles and being defensively aware - pretty much all over the ice.

Even though much of the play was in the Finnish end they pretty much dictated where the puck would end up - and the Americans more times than not either lost 50/50 battles or were content to go pretty much where the Finnish team angled them.

In fairness, I didn't see the first two periods so maybe the USA was better then - as the stats seem to indicate. But in the third period there were few real opportunities or second chances gained by the American forwards.

Yes, Saros was good. But there wasn't a lot of traffic or cleverness to make his life all that difficult.
