Aebischer 50GP 3.09AVG .899SV 3SO

If we take weighted averages for both teams:

Buffalo: 2.72AVG .910SV 1SO
Mtl: 2.72AVG .912SV 5SO

Those numbers are pretty much identical, untill you factor in that the Habs numbers are skewed downwards because Aebischer played more games than Huet.

I'm not saying I agree that Mtl has better goaltending than Buffalo, but it's at least a debate.
