Alain Lemieux was called up to play with the Penguins (his little brothers team).
While he got to play on his brothers team, he was actually called up to replace Mario who was out with the flu.
Alain was a pretty talented player in his own right. But, he was reputed to be chronically out of shape, and poor defensively.
The Nords traded for him. He put up 22 points in 30 games, but showed up next fall fat and out of shape, all but cementing his reputation as a career minor leaguer.
