Yeah, it isn't ideal but it also isn't the worst thing. Coaching changes work when the teams are good teams playing poorly. Firing Florida's coach isn't going to do anything because that team isn't good enough. If the Flyers come out flat next season, a coaching change could put them on the right path. It works when the team is good. Aside from the other changes that were mentioned, I think Bylsma was another one that worked in recent years.
