Why is there any discussion whatsoever whether this is a legitimate thread or not? This is a top news story not only in Quebec, but across Canada and the world. I don't even live in Quebec and I feel the chilling nature of it. The fact that it happened in Montreal makes this thread even more imperative, on a Montreal Canadiens forum.

The Canadiens board on this site is more than a hockey website. It is a community, where there are real people behind their keyboards and screens. In life, everybody has a greater depth than just hockey. Having discussion that bring us closer together is a part of healing, and considering that a large number of posters on this site have been affected by this, healing should be a priority here. I cannot believe that some feel like we are blowing this out of proportion. This is a major event that has changed the lives of many people, whether they were directly involved or not, and it should be talked about to help us recover, little by little.
