I would predict Montreal doesnt make the conference finals---2 division winners (Pittsburgh and chicago) and 2 non division winners make it.
thus they pick at 25.....
25th + their mid 2nd round + CGY#2 could get them to deal with a team at 16-19.....Minnesota)Buffalo), Ottawa, Detroit, Rangers( Columbus).
Buffalo isnt going to move down unless they wanted to get more ammo to move up from their pick....Columbus probably doesnt.....Ottawa may do this if they lose the guy they targeted, and Detroit---doubt it because this is the highest they have been in a while---so they also are a team that could try and use this pick and move up to 10-12 range.
at 15 NY islanders, 13 Winipeg....two teams that could entertain an offer to trade down or trade their pick for a player who could play now instead of 2-4 yrs from now.
to move up there, or higher like 10-12 would likely cost Montreal 2 2nd round picks....or a current roster player.
