Was at the gas station a little while ago, paid cash, was owed 2 cents and I was just standing there and she said, "did you want your change?" Yeah, actually I do. If you put out one of those buckets for the crippled kids, I'll likely just drop it in there. However, it goes to my hand first, and they didn't have one of those buckets anyway so no ****ing way I'm just letting you leave it in the register. Don't people understand that if we treat pennies like nothing, eventually they will get taken away? That means everything is going to get rounded up 5 cents higher. I know it isn't that much but it adds up. This isn't just an isolated incident either. I've been noticing an attitude change with pennies. My girlfriend handed me a bag of garbage a few months ago and it was clinging around, I knew there was money in there. I just straight up told her "What the **** is wrong with you?!?"
