To assume altercation automatically means they beat people up is trying to make this seem worse. If they actually did bodily harm they'd be in a jail cell.

Unless it was a heated argument and they bruised the other person's ego. I figure there was something physical. Perhaps a push or whatever.
Still, someone has to be ******** to press charges for a push. Stranger things have happened though.
