Sure they have RNH and Gagner, but both are pretty soft, mediocre defensively at best and crappy on faceoffs. It's okay to have one center like that in your top 6, but having 2 is absolutely crippling. Their need for a 2way center is dire. At least on defense they have Schultz as a 1st year player and Klefbom, Marincin and Musil in their pipeline. And then Smid is only 26 and IMO is very underrated.

I would even say a large portion of their current defensive problems can be attributed to their forwards, they just don't have any good 2way forwards at all.

Sean Monahan would be a dream pick for the Oilers. He is EXACTLY what they need and they would have to be completely stupid to pass on him.

If Edmonton gets Monahan, I think I might cry.
