Cannot have played in 6 or more games in any 2 previous NHL seasons
Cannot have reached his 26th birthday by Sept 15 of that season

The last rule is why when Damien Brunner of the Wings was so hot earlier in the season that many knew he couldnt win the award even though this is his 1st yr in the NHL (aka a rookie). He cooled off and finished with 26 pts so it probably didnt matter in the end.

Oh so to answer the question, no Huberdeau would not be eligible to win the Calder next yr. Same with Shore who has played in 43 games this yr. Bjugstad, Howden, Robak, Petrovic would all technically be eligible for next yrs Calder since none went over 25 games (and in Robak's case, he only played in 3 games the previous yr and 15 this yr so yes still eligible).
