NO trade was worse than some of the deals Reggie Houle pulled in his brief-but-disastrous tenure as Habs GM. Kovalenko, Rucinsky, and Thibault for Roy and Keane. Turgeon for Corson. Wow, bad, but for obvious reasons I'm very grateful the Roy trade took place.

As for other bad deals? One of the worst my Avs ever did was trading Radim Vrbata for Bates Battaglia, though Lacroix made up for that one by parlaying Bates for Konowalchuk. Another bad one was trading then-prospect Mark Parrish for Tom Fitzgerald, who up and went to the Preds right after helping us lose in the first round to Edmonton.

But I think the absolute worst trade in recent memory was when Mike Milbury sent Roberto Luongo and Olli Jokinen to the Panthers for Oleg Kvasha and Mark Parrish. He then turned around and drafted DiPietro 1st overall, passing up on both Dany Heatley AND Marian Gaborik.
