Mind you, Eakins is actually four years older than Boucher and has been around the NHL/AHL for 20+ seasons. But in either case, I think you can bring in veteran assistants if that element is needed. Boucher would probably have Marty Raymond as his forwards/special teams guy, Raymond got dumped to the AHL when Boucher was fired in TB. He doesn't have a long NHL history, so the veteran would probably have to be the D coach. Terry Murray, maybe? Eakins has had the same assistants, Derek King and Gord Dineen, all four years in Toronto, and both guys have been around the NHL since the 80's, so that would work as a package.
