Honestly, the Kings defensive zone strategy completely baffles me. They don't cover the points along the board, they cheat towards the middle, yet their defensemen always throw the reverse pass along the boards. This just crosses up the entire coverage in the defensive zone.

It just gives the Blues a free shot from the point and they generally are able to walk right to the top of the circles.

The other play that I don't understand is why the Kings wingers don't pressure the puck holder when they skate towards them, they always back off and "cover" the points. Yet they never actually cover the points, they just drift between the tops of the circles. Brown did it twice and it resulted in some pretty good chances on goal down low.
