Eminger lost the puck in his skates, then misread the play and went for the big hit instead of backing off.
richards was not back, it was a 2 on 1 with Richards laboring to get back.
You can blame DZ for the slide, because he took neither the pass not the shot away, but Ward did some great stick handling to get around him.
It was bad defense all around, but that goal is Eminger's fault.
