You make it sound like he was Richards out there. He is obviously hurting, not every injury is the same, yet I thought his play didn't hurt the team, he was still garnering the Caps top defensive duo and that allowed the other lines to come through with some offense. I agree with your last statement, but that's a straw man argument. While his last two games have been weak, you don't want to be comparing Ovechkin's career to Nash's.

I was just hoping for a lot more from Nash than 'his play didn't hurt the team'.

Nash still has time to convert me.
