I'm not as familiar with bottom 6 needs of many teams so can't really tell. Of the teams I follow more closely, I think Colorado could have use for him but they are div. rivals next year. Possibly New Jersey. Maybe Calgary, dunno.
Or they can just buy him out. Doesn't have to be trade.
Also reportedly Hawks are high on Raanta so they can sign him instead of emery and save some cap space there, and then there is maybe no need to move Frolik at all. Or they can waive him and even that would be enough.
Spending up to the cap is a very reckless ordeal, and usually prevents moves from being made mid season that would help the team. Couple that with the fact that the kids will have to be paid eventually and you have cap hell once again. Once again, you don't know who would want them. With the plethora of bottom sixers already on the FA market, some team is going to trade for something more expensive? I don't think so.
