Sure it is. But they exist.

Grit is about be willing to go anywhere in the ice against any opponent at any time.

Petan does this. Taking lesser skilled big players that don't go there is an issue.

If it comes down to identical players with a large size discrepancy maybe you take the big guy.

One thing a lot of these small guys say, is that their size isn't a disadvantage...they often speak to it being an advantage.

I believe I posted the highlights from the top prospects game earlier in this thread where Petan shields 6'7" Sam morin on his back side as he fend him off and scores.

These little guys when willing are just as much of a matchup nightmare as the big guys are.
