Its not a personnel thing though. Its Torts inability to adjust to the team your playing. Against a team like Boston, who doesn't have a quick transition game(not a whole lot of skill either). Torts game plan is fine. But against teams like Pitt, Caps, Chicago etc: its just a mess.

If Torts was smart. He would attack Caps D all series wreck havoc in the slot. He doesn't want to play that way because he is terrified of trapping our forwards below the hashmarks for Caps counter attacks. The irony is that forcing the Caps D to play in their own end is exactly how you beat them.
