I'm not really sure the Flames are in the market for a goalie. If they sign Ramo they definitely won't be. They already have 3 under contract (Macdonald, Berra and Brossoit). Ramo would make 4. Two will play in the AHL (Brossoit almost definitely will) and two in the NHL (Macdonald will likely be the backup at least to start).

If Bernier were available at a decent price I could maybe see them doing something, but I don't think it's a priority.

EDIT: And yeah at this point Calgary has no need for a young goalie or prospect. They're already got 2 decent prospects in Gillies and Brossoit - and Ortio is still around.

The only goalies that are really worth anything are those that are 100% proven and no one wants to trade those. If you're not getting a rock-solid starter you're better off rolling the dice and trying to find your own. There's no point giving up assets for someone who isn't 100% proven.
