If it turns out he can't handle it, then we at least know what he is at that point and can move on. I think it is very possible with a new coach that EJ has a break out year.
He gets more ice-time when he's playing best.
I agree it's time for him to have a break out year. He's had stretches when he played like a beast, now it's time to show it for a full season.
