Yeah, first of all, I like the look of him to in G7.

But, people are asking why he is "not" an NHLer, the problem looking at the entire season is the opposite. Why should he play?

He has played all year, and more or less contributed zip. Why go out of our way to get -- what exactly? Zero offense? Zero physical play? Zero forechecking ability?

He played a few shifts in G7 where he had an explosive edge to his game. He will get chances and needs to build on that. But it's stupidity to try to force someone into a bigger role who hasn't shown more despite being given a ton of chances THIS season.

The way he looked in G7, I wouldn't rule out that he caught up physically after some time of, and actually could be ready to give more. But the natural order still is to take it step by step...
