I would prefer that Brian get a role similar to what Chris Taylor started with in Rochester.

Add him to the staff to help work with the forwards on skill development. But, putting him on the bench as one of the main assistants immediately upon retiring isn't something that would sit well with me.

I don't think adding him in that role would be out of line. He was a smart player with a long career that played for some great coaches. If he wants to get into coaching, that is a perfectly legit first step.
