I think you're conclusion is correct, but you're getting there all wrong. Jagr isn't a superhuman who heals better than the rest of us. He's likely quite normal but has immense talent. One reason why a pro athlete may heal better than us norml folks is the attention they get from doctor's and physical therapists in order to heal. Jagr's job after surgery was to heal his shoulder properly. He had docors at his disposal. After my knee surgery I went to work from 8AM until 9PM and a couple times a week was lucky to see the therapist. Icing the knee was tough because I was up and down a lot and sitting at a desk. Recovery's a bit easier for a guy like Jagr, not to mention that his doctors and physical therapists are the best in the world.
