I covered the holes in my palms with duct tape.

Put a layer inside the glove (with the sticky side out), then a layer on the outside, so that the tape sticks to itself wherever it's not sticking to the palm; helps it hold together. It seems to be working pretty well; more or less waterproof, and it doesn't seem more slippery or anything. It's a little ghetto, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than new gloves or repalming.
