I really, really wanted Chara over Redden at the time. I remember arguing that he was a Norris winner one day, and the main argument I heard was, apparently, we'd never ever get out of our zone without Redden's passing. I never thought the 'new' NHL would last very long - especially in the play-offs. Chara has become exactly what I thought he'd be. That said, I''m no Nostradamus because I was SUPER stoked when we traded Hossa for Heatley and I believe I said something along the lines of - Heatley is a Canadian kid who grew up dreaming about the Stanley Cup and he'll be a warrior come spring and Hossa... well it's probably not a big deal for him and Heatley will score more and bring more character and blah blah blah. Basically, I had it totally backwards. Everything I argued Heatley would do, Hossa has done - for someone else. Whoops.
