In a real world "stealing" means you take something that is someone else's property. The players are not property of the clubs. If a player's contract has a clause that permits him to leave then he is free to do so. That is what contracts are for. To set the rules and regulations.

You can call the KHL "unfair" for overpaying players to get them but "stealing" is an incorrect term here.
