The Rangers need to get on the same page. They trade for Nash. They had Gaborik and Callahan on the right side. Nash played both wings in Columbus. Torts decides to move Gaborik to the left side and keep Nash on the right. They gave up Dubinsky who barely played in the playoffs last season. AA who was up and down. They added Nash. Torts kept banging the point about losing the middle of his line-up in the trade and in free agency. Prust was a fourth liner. Fedotenko was that important? Torts called the Nash move a "lateral" move two weeks ago. It didn't help Richards has been terrible. Boyle was awful until the playoffs. The front office and the coach don't seem to be on the same page.
In my company that would mean that someone down the food chain would get to feel the heat and fast. But that seems hardly likely here. Groundhog Day it is - over and over again...
