Good for the kid that he got a pro contract. As a post draft player that can't hit a point per game in junior, his chances of making the NHL are astronomically small.

Try to find another player that went through junior with his scoring rates and made the NHL as something other then a designated face puncher. I don't think you can find a "skill" guy that made that jump.
My guess is that you did not follow Zharkov or the Bulls much last year. For a good part of the year the Bulls were just about the lowest scoring team in the OHL. They play defense first, defense second and defense third. (It is also worth noting that they play on big ice. Two thirds of the way through the season they brought in a couple of offensive players and Zharkov took off. He had 16 goals and 27 points in his last 23 games.
