Yeah right ... Bobby Orr is the best of all time by a wide margin, and Gretzky doesn't have a physical bone in his body. Offensively, Gretz is in a class all by himself, no question, but he was nevertheless one-dimensional. Mess will always be underrated, mainly a result of playing with a geat cast, but he lead that talented group ... but no surprise of the reaction.

Back to size, there are more than a few small players that excel by their tenacity. One of the newer ones is Gallagher. Shaw tries to be one of those, and is probably the closest we have.
