Still too early to completely look to next year with the season not over yet, but as it stands right now, I think this would be the base of the lineup for next year, and it gets filled in from there:
Brandon Saad ($0.894m) / Jonathan Toews ($6.300m) / Patrick Kane ($6.300m)
Top 6 Forward / Patrick Sharp ($5.900m) / Marian Hossa ($5.275m)
Andrew Shaw ($0.578m) / 3C / XXXXXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXXXXX / XXXXXXXXXXXXX / Ben Smith ($0.563m)
Brandon Bollig ($0.575m) / Daniel Carcillo ($0.825m)
Brent Seabrook ($5.800m) / Duncan Keith ($5.538m)
Niklas Hjalmarsson ($3.500m) / Top 4 D
Johnny Oduya ($3.383m) / Top 6 D
Sheldon Brookbank ($1.250m) /
Corey Crawford ($2.667m)
Buyout: Rostislav Olesz ($0.292m)
Buyout: Steve Montador ($0.000m)

(these totals are compiled with the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $64,300,000; CAP PAYROLL: $49,639,295; BONUSES: $82,500
CAP SPACE (15-man roster): $14,743,205
Trade Bolland as has been discussed. I'd also trade Frolik as while he's been good in his role, he's overpaid and the Hawks will need the cap space.
Compliance buyout on Montador. Normal buyout on Olesz which saves the last compliance buyout for 2014-15 just in case they need it.
Leddy and Kruger I would re-sign as RFAs, but didn't want to speculate how much it would cost. Bickell can come back at the right price. Stalberg will be out of the Hawks' price range I think.
This should leave the Hawks some room to find a good top 6 forward (preferably with size) and some size in the bottom 6. Probably would need to find a C who can win draws to play in the bottom 6.
I'd love to shed Oduya's salary somehow, but I just don't see him getting moved.
